Aspect recently partnered with the Dept. of Design for the revamp of Manteena’s head office based in Canberra. The commercial construction company have been operating in the same office for over 20 years, and felt it was time for their space to be future-proofed for the post-pandemic and hybrid working world.
Functionality and flexibility were key focuses for the new space, with a large emphasis towards open plan working spaces and ergonomic design. To support maximum collaboration and connectivity, open-plan spaces have been furnished with fit-for-purpose solutions, including height-adjustable desks, privacy screens and ergonomic task chairs.
Our innovative Studio Pod design offer private, modular meeting room solutions away from the busy open plan areas. They provide the perfect place to carry out focused work or smaller group meetings.
The chosen colour palette, consisting of black and blue hues, reflects Manteena’s brand identity and is complemented by the use of natural materials. The combination of greenery, exposed beams, brick and sandstone features contribute to an industrial look and feel and mirror the tactile nature of the building industry.
Sector 2 tables have been used throughout the space, providing a flexible solution that can be used as a collaboration, meeting or boardroom table solution.
