St Paul’s House, a historical neo-Gothic building immediately adjacent to the exquisitely-detailed architectural landmark of St Paul’s Cathedral has recently been restored to provide new ministry and administrative facilities for the Cathedral and Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.


Working within this heritage building which was constructed over a hundred years ago, the design objective was to restore and retain the heritage features and neo-Gothic transitional style of the space whilst providing state-of-the-art modern workspace comforts.

 
 
 
 
 

The Aspect team were engaged by the client and specialist heritage architect, Trethowan, to provide a full suite of workplace furniture and bespoke solutions for the project.

 
 
 
 

Aspect’s answer to the brief was a range of functional, yet contemporary work and break-out space furniture that not only complemented but elevated the interior style of the space.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Our Zurich 5 sit-to-stand workpoints were paired with Strata screens in a neutral grey for optimal personal privacy in the working areas, with storage and accessories in clean white for a fresh, modern feel.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Stork leaners and Agility meeting tables in natural finishes add warmth to the airy meeting and break-out spaces, with velvety soft seating, cushions and artwork adding pops of colour.
