WorkTote – the design story.
At Aspect, we are creative problem solvers. We love collaborating with clients to discover their workplace needs and aspirations.
That’s why we’re excited to share the design story behind one of our most popular products, the WorkTote – a prime example of how we work with our clients to create tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
Identifying the need for a solution that enabled employees to be highly mobile and retain their basic office tools throughout the workspace, our design team set to work, conceptualising what soon would become the iconic WorkTote.
Born out of the need for a compact storage solution that could be easily transported around the office, the WorkTote needed to be lightweight and portable, as well as durable and practical. We also wanted to create something that was highly functional, and that’s exactly what we did.
The WorkTote has been designed to safely carry all your work accessories at once – even your laptop.
Following the successful delivery of numerous WorkTotes for Datacom, the WorkTote has grown into a staple product in the Aspect range and is used daily by clients throughout Australasia and America.
To date, we have sold over 85,000 units.
The WorkTote is more than just a furniture piece – it’s a symbol of our commitment to helping people prosper at work. It's a product that reflects our values of innovation and collaboration.
